Water Safety Instructor Course at the Summit Area YMCA

Course Information
Teaches the skills and knowledge needed to teach the following Red Cross courses and includes Fundamentals of Instructor Training. Your certificate entitles you to teach the following levels:
- Learn to swim levels 1 through 6
- Parent and child aquatics
- Water safety outreach
- Basic water rescue course
- Water safety today presentation
- General water safety presentation
- Home pool safety presentation
- Parent orientation to swimming lessons presentations
Prerequisites
The class is open to participants who are 16 yrs of age by the last day of class.
Cost
Members: $300
Non-Members: $400
